Shared Dreams Charity

Shared Dreams

The innovative Lava Shells Massage Treatment is available within various spas and salons across the UK & Ireland; Shared Beauty Secrets has joined forces with SOS Children’s Villages, the world’s largest orphan charity, to raise money for children in the Philippines. One of the 123 countries in which it works and home to the very tools at the heart of the company’s range of 8 treatments. Under the name Shared Dreams, Shared Beauty Secrets will be supporting two villages in the Philippines including the original village, Cebu, where the Lava Shells® are sourced. “This is such an exciting enterprise”, explains Clare Anderson, Founder of Shared Beauty Secrets; “There is such a high demand for the Lava Shells treatment that we have so much to thank these communities for. The villagers have enabled us to set up this project with the natural tools of their shores – without their help we couldn’t have done this.”
By joining forces with SOS Children, Shared Beauty Secrets hopes to raise further awareness of the charity and will donate a percentage of their profits to the villages, as well as raise further funds through Shared Dreams charity events. 100% of money raised under the Shared Dreams umbrella will go direct to the SOS Children’s villages, with the intention of providing vulnerable children a secure family for life. The charity SOS Children has been helping children find homes and families since 1949, children who have lost their parents through conflict, famine, disease and poverty. Over 70,000 orphaned or abandoned children are cared for by SOS mothers in clusters of family homes in more than 470 children’s villages, in 123 countries around the world. A further million benefit from SOS Children’s outreach support, which includes education, vocational training, medical care and community development programmes.

Ever ambitious, Shared Beauty Secrets have a clear vision in mind for this partnership with SOS Children. “Our aim with Shared Dreams is all about giving back to the community that has made this project possible for us. In the long run, our goal is to provide secure care and facilities that are otherwise just a faint dream.”
